Flooring Applications

Who This Is For

Spalled & Cracked Concrete

If road salt, freeze-thaw cycles, or heavy traffic has pitted, cracked, or stained your raw concrete, we restore and seal the substrate permanently.

Curb Appeal Upgrade

Turn your dark, dusty concrete garage into a clean, bright, and modern extension of your home—ideal for workshops, gyms, or showcase vehicles.

Commercial High-Traffic Areas

Heavy-duty chemical-resistant coatings for showrooms, auto shops, commercial warehouses, and manufacturing hubs needing durable floors.

The Coating Protocol

What’s Included

We follow a strict multi-step coating procedure to ensure a lifetime chemical bond that will not peel or delaminate:

  • Mechanical diamond grinding of the entire concrete floor
  • Dust-free HEPA vacuuming to open concrete pores
  • Routing, filling, and flat-sanding of cracks and spalls
  • Application of high-solids basecoat (epoxy/polyurea)
  • Full broadcast density of decorative vinyl chips
  • Application of UV-stable, chemical-resistant topcoat

The Power of Diamond Grinding

We never use acid etching. Acid etching does not open concrete pores deeply enough to hold polyurea. We use heavy industrial diamond grinders to mechanically score the concrete, ensuring the coating bonds deep within the stone matrix.

The Floor Choice

Why Brixel Flooring

We combine industrial mechanical equipment with top-grade polyurea and polyaspartic coatings. Unlike standard DIY roll-on epoxy kits, our floors resist hot car tires, winter road salts, automotive oil, and UV yellowing, preserving a beautiful look for years to come.

Diamond Ground

Complete mechanical profile grinding for permanent coating adhesion.

Tire Peel Proof

Polyurea system designed to resist hot car tires pick-up.

UV Resistant

Non-yellowing clear topcoats that resist direct sun exposure.

Road Salt Shield

Protected envelope resistant to petrochemicals and winter salts.

FAQ

Garage Flooring FAQs

What is the difference between epoxy and polyurea floor coatings?

Epoxy is a durable classic coating, but it can yellow from UV sun exposure and peel under hot car tires (hot-tire pickup). Polyurea (and polyaspartic) coatings are 4x stronger, completely UV-stable, highly flexible, and bond chemically to concrete, making them peel-proof.

How do you prepare the concrete floor before coating?

Preparation is key. We mechanically diamond-grind the entire concrete floor to remove contaminants and open the pores. We then route, fill, and sand flat all cracks, joints, and spalled areas before coating.

How long does a garage floor coating project take?

Our advanced polyurea systems can typically be prepped, coated, and sealed in just 1 to 2 days. You can walk on the surface within 24 hours and park vehicles on it after 48 hours.

Is the floor slippery when wet?

We distribute decorative vinyl color flakes fully into the wet basecoat, which creates a textured slip-resistant surface. We also mix in specialized non-slip aggregate particles into the final clear topcoat for extra grip.
